Delete Your Account
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Respond is used by fire and EMS departments to alert responders and coordinate emergency response. This page explains how to delete your Respond account and personal data, what is removed, and what your department keeps as an official record.
Delete in the app
- Open Respond.
- Go to Settings → General.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
Your personal data is deleted right away and you are signed out.
If you can’t open the app
If you have left your department or can no longer sign in, email privacy@stationos.io from the email address associated with your account, or include your full name and department. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your device’s push-notification registration
- Your alert and notification preferences
- Your location history — the tracking recorded while you are en route to a call, and your last-known coordinates
- Diagnostic reports sent by your device
What is kept, and why
A record of which emergency calls you responded to, and when is retained as your department’s official response record. Fire and EMS departments are required to keep records of who attended each incident, and these records feed federal NFIRS/NERIS incident reporting. This attendance record is retained after you delete your account, but the precise GPS coordinates attached to it are removed.
Your sign-in identity is managed by your department. Deleting your Respond data does not remove you from your department’s roster — your department administrator does that when you leave.
