ImageTrend alternative
Already on ImageTrend?
There is a good chance you cannot leave, and an equally good chance you do not need to. This is the one page here that is not asking you to replace anything.
Start with the part nobody can argue with
ImageTrend is an EMS data company first. The ePCR files to your state, the patient registries are statewide, and there is hospital interoperability behind it — plus prevention, permits, inspections, investigations and billing. That is a serious amount of ground.
And in a lot of places it was not your decision. Where the state or the county selected the vendor and pays for it, your department uses ImageTrend for EMS reporting whether or not it would have picked it. Any page telling you to rip that out is written by someone who has not sat in that meeting.
We could not replace it anyway. stationOS has no ePCR that submits to a state, and no inspections module. If what you need is a different ImageTrend, we are not it, and the rest of this page will not change that.
So keep it — and look at the other four-fifths of the station
ImageTrend handles the patient record and the prevention side. What it was never built to be is the system your members open on a Tuesday night. That part is what we do.
The call, on every surface a member actually carries
Dispatch alerting on the phone (iPhone and Android), the watch, the car’s own screen, the lock screen, a rugged Garmin, the tablet in the rig and the board on the apparatus floor. The watch, the car screen, the lock screen and the rig tablet are iPhone and iPad. On Android, it’s the phone and a Garmin. Spoken dispatch, a tone that ramps rather than starting at full volume, a page that can fire before dispatch tones out, and an escalation ladder that keeps reaching an on-duty member who has gone quiet.
The rig checks, off the clipboard
Apparatus with compartments and equipment locations, checklists that rotate, live check sessions several members join at once, maintenance logs, out-of-service windows, repair tickets, a stockroom with rig draws and a weekly low-stock digest, and personal jump bags with expiry reminders.
Certifications, skill sheets and the points that go with them
Certification expiry sweeps, NFPA-style JPR skill sheets signed off per requirement, training sessions with rosters and printable QR sign-in sheets, leave with an accrual engine and an auditable ledger — and LOSAP-style service points that post automatically when a member finishes a rig check or a duty shift, rather than being transcribed off a clipboard every January.
NERIS fire reporting that was built for NERIS
NERIS codes that come straight from the federal spec, so when the feds change it, we find out before your report does. Checks each report, submits it, and catches any that get stuck partway, with the responder list — and the rig each member rode — coming from our own alerting app instead of being typed in.
A board that earns its wall between calls
The apparatus-floor screen carries the week when there is no call on it: what is on now, this week’s rig checks including the ones nobody has signed up for, and a QR that checks a member in by pointing a phone at the wall. It runs on a set-top box or a Raspberry Pi behind any HDMI panel — whatever you already have on the floor.
One printed price for all of it
$3,999 a year, up to about a hundred members, unlimited devices and stations, published on the site. EMS reporting stays where it is.
Is this actually a fit?
We would rather you find out here than twenty minutes into a demo.
Worth a look if
- Your state or county picked ImageTrend for EMS and you are keeping it regardless.
- The thing that actually annoys your members is turnout, rig checks or chasing certifications — not the patient record.
- You are paying a third vendor for alerting, or a fourth for scheduling, on top of ImageTrend.
- You want the firehouse side to be one login instead of three.
Not yet, if
- You want to replace ImageTrend outright. We have no ePCR that submits to a state and no EMS billing. That is the whole of their core, and we do not have it.
- You need inspections, permits or occupancy management. There is no prevention module anywhere in stationOS.
- You need fire-investigation case management — evidence log, chain of custody, caseload. We carry the NERIS origin-and-cause record, which is a narrower thing.
- Your fire incident reporting is also state-directed through ImageTrend, in which case the reports module may be redundant for you — though the other three are not.
There is no migration, which is the point
This is the rare evaluation with no data conversion in it. Your patient records stay where they are, your state submissions carry on exactly as they do now, and nothing in your reporting chain is touched.
What changes is the side ImageTrend was never the system for: the page that wakes your members, the checks on the apparatus floor, the certification that is about to expire. If you do also move fire incident reporting across, we import NFIRS directly and have an Emergency Reporting importer that works from exported print reports — hands-on, and we do it with you.
Departments running both is the expected arrangement here, not a compromise.
Printed, so it goes in a budget request
Bring the part that actually annoys you
Fifteen minutes on whichever of turnout, rig checks or certifications is the current headache. If the honest answer is that ImageTrend already covers it, we will say so.
